§ 02 · Why Melaa exists

Every other directory sells your leads back to you.

You pay to get listed. Then you pay again per lead. Then the platform pushes its “pro” vendors to the top. Then they take a cut when you close. By the time you've done the work, three companies have been paid before you.

We don't do any of that. Listing is free. Your inquiries go to your inbox. No pay-to-play. No upsells. No middleman. The only money that ever moves from you to Melaa is a flat referral fee, agreed in writing, when our concierge introduces a couple and they book you. If Melaa ever starts skimming from your bookings, you can leave, and we'll tell you so, in writing.

We do the verification
We look at your portfolio for craft, email 2 past families if you list them, and check your business registration. Every vendor who meets our cultural and quality bar gets in — we want the directory full of real professionals.

Two channels bring you couples. Your profile, which is free and stays free. And the concierge, where we do the selling for you and charge a flat referral fee only when the couple we introduced actually books you. No booking, no fee, no subscription.

Channel 2 · Concierge introductions · flat fee on booked
  • A couple opens a file; we shortlist vendors who actually fit
  • We call you first: availability, real quote, and the fee, in writing
  • You appear in their picks with your quote and the reason you fit
  • They book you directly, on your contract, at your full price
  • You pay the flat referral fee then, and only then

The fee never buys placement: couples see why each vendor was picked, and a vendor who never pays us a cent still gets recommended when they are the fit. For the record, the old $49/month subscription was retired before anyone was billed.
